What is an auto safety benefit?
In general, if your spouse’s or partner’s or children’s accidental death occurs while they are riding as a passenger in a private passenger vehicle, the spouse or partner and/or dependent children’s benefit increases by a set amount. To be in effect, it must be determined that seat belts were being worn by your covered family members at the time of the accident.
What is a spouse double tragedy?
In general, if you and your spouse or partner both die due to a single accident or multiple accidents that occur within a set time period, the base spouse benefit  is increased to 100% of the base policy’s benefit (for the primary insured).
What is a college fund benefit?
In general, a college fund benefit provides an additional benefit for each dependent child aged 15-22 during the time they may be preparing for or enrolled in college.
